How long does dermal filler last?
The longevity of dermal filler varies depending on the product used, the area treated, the amount of filler injected, and your individual metabolism. Many fillers can last approximately 6–18 months, while some may last longer. We can discuss the expected longevity of your specific treatment during your consultation.

Does dermal filler hurt?
Most patients tolerate dermal filler treatments well. Many fillers contain lidocaine to help improve comfort during treatment, and additional numbing can be used when appropriate. You may experience brief pinching, pressure, or mild discomfort during the injections.

Is there downtime after filler?
Dermal filler typically requires little downtime, although temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising can occur. These effects vary depending on the treatment area and individual patient. Specific aftercare instructions following your treatment will be provided.

 

How soon will I see my results?
You'll typically notice an immediate improvement after filler treatment. However, swelling can temporarily affect the appearance of the treated area. As the swelling settles, your results will become more apparent. Depending on the treatment, it may take several days to a few weeks for the final result to fully settle.

Can I get filler and Botox at the same appointment?

Will filler make me look overfilled?
It doesn't have to. Natural-looking results depend on appropriate product selection, placement and volume. Our approach is focused on enhancing your existing features while maintaining facial balance and proportion. The goal is to look refreshed and naturally enhanced—not overfilled.

 

Can dermal filler be dissolved?
Many commonly used hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase when medically appropriate. At E Aesthetics we only use fillers made from hyaluronic acid.
